Oh my goodness!  Yesterdays wedding was so super wonderful!!  Honestly … all week the forecast was for rain … every morning I woke up and checked the forecast … then beautiful Saturday came!!!  The weather was perfect, Teresa and Casey’s families are so warm … smiling faces and tears … it was the BEST … honestly, it was a perfect day … and everyone was saying it … so so so stinking AWESOME!  I wanted to get a sneak peak up before Casey and Teresa leave on their surprise honeymoon … I can’t wait to find out where they go … I’m so excited for them!

The day was really perfect and watching them interact was truly dreamy … thank you guys for letting me be part of such an important day in your lives.  Love you guys.

OH MY!  Let me just say that I had such a wonderful time with these three that I can not wait until the wedding!!!

The trip started with a little bit of excitement … it was raining when I landed in Palm Springs!! RAINING!!  Sarah said the forecast was for a break in the rain for about two hours … two hours … we are going to make it happen!  So we drove up to Joshua Tree and met up with Clarke who text’d us the most beautiful rainbow he saw when he was waiting for us … we were so excited to get there … we got there and it was pouring!  POURING!  No worries though we hadn’t got to the time yet that the forecast said it would be clear … and sure enough … it cleared and we snapped away … quickly, I might add!!  We made a quick trip to Pioneer Town, which is a quirky little place … but perfect!

Sarah and Clarke are so fun and so easy going.  I had such a great time with them … I felt like we had been friends and I was just coming in for a quick visit … they are warm and welcoming and so darn cute together!  And Sammie … well, I have a sweet spot for doggies … I’m in love with her for sure!

Seriously, my friend Lisa posted this on her blog and it is so true … I wish more people in the world today got it.

I have to say that sometimes I get so caught up in the hurry up and getter’ done of daily life that I find myself a bit lost. It frustrates me … which there again I get a little lost with that … last night I went to bed and I prayed that today I would be able to release that feeling, sorta like bug be gone … that I would truly feel and be in the moment of life and forget about the “stuff” that surrounds me, or quite honestly what I let surround me.

I’ve been walking and looking lately … trying to release that bug … I love to look for the details or the things that tell the story but go unnoticed by most … I love this … it inspires me … it feeds me … then last night something hit me like a ton of bricks … thank goodness not literally!!! OK now I’m actually laughing!!  And I mean that because what I want to do is really feel things. Like the wind on yours skin, or the coolness of the rain drop, or this morning the water from the shower going over my face … like truly feel it … not like the everyday … wash your face and go.  I felt the warmth, the trickle of the water from my brow drop onto my cheeks … the sounds of the water on my head … it was eye opening … like, today I feel so inspired with life it’s not even funny … actually it sorta does make me giggle … but honestly … try it … try to truly feel today … I’m telling you … it feels good.  It feel real good!
