Amber and Kenny : San Francisco Engagement Session : Destination Hawaii wedding

When Amber called me to inquire about photography we hit it off right away.  She and Kenny are getting married in Hawaii next Spring and they are so excited.  We decided to meet up in San Francisco for their engagement session and do a little exploring.  I had this mission … let’s find some artwork that I had seen in the latest Sunset Magazine … I MUST find it … It would be just perfect for our shoot … we did eventually find it!  I was so excited … and I’m sure Kenny and Amber had fun amusing me being on such a quest!  These two sweethearts have been together through high school and have a common bound that brings them together, which is something that is so important in marriage … I love these two and am so excited for them!  Here are some of my favorites from their session …

Destination Wedding Photographer {I miss Kauai} sneak peak at Jasmine and Ying Day After

I woke up this morning wishing I was in Kauai! Those mornings were so wonderful … roll out of bed, grab a cup of coffee, hand out on the Lani with friends and then enjoy the day … which that week not only was a dream job but also fabulous fun! How often do you get to go diving with your coworkers, aka the awesome Alison and crew of Alison Ulshoffer Events, and stroll the island taking photos of your bosses, Jasmine and Ying who got married on the Island (I promise those photos are just around the corner to being posted)!!!!!

One of the very best part of being a destination photographer is the above but also getting to capture my clients enjoying their wedding time and capturing more than just the usual photographs … we spent the day two days after their wedding just snapping around the island and enjoying … while driving them to locations they confided … it’s so nice to just hang!! I loved hearing that and I loved capturing some stinking fun and smokin’ hot photos on a Hanalei Bay beach that we could have not done is a wedding dress … on the wedding day … oh I’m so excited to share those!!!

San Francisco Engagement Session Hotness!! {Kimberly & Rob} Part 1

So, you know those people you meet in life and you instantly feel like inviting them over for dinner, or grabbing a beer and just hangin’?  Kimberly and Rob are those people!  They are so stinking great!  Fun, relaxed and real!  I LOVE that!  I LOVE them!

I met up with them for a day in the City for their engagement session … we started at the beach and then headed to Coit Tower … we even road the elevator to the top and had one of the most amazing views of the City as it was clearer than clear that day!  It was so fun!  We ended the day at At&t Park … one of these wonderful people is a Giants fan (which I will not hold against them ;-) )  And the other a Dodger fan (my personal favorite baseball team!)  so it was fun to end the day at the park … next time it will have to be for a game!!

They are getting married in Tahoe this year … and I’m so excited to be photographing their wedding!  Tahoe is so wonderful and such a place of peace … it is going to be fabulous!  Ms. Alison of Alison Ulshoffer Events is their coordinator and loves Tahoe too so you know it is going to be GREAT!

So this is part one of their post … and part two to follow shortly!

{Sara and Dave} A BEAUTIFUL day in San Francisco and a Fabulously Fun Couple

I know I say this a lot … BUT, it honestly is so true! I get to work with the most awesome people EVER! Sara and Dave … no exception!

It was a absolutely fabulous day in the City and we met up first and had a little “liquid fuel” and then hit the road running to snap some fun photos of them together! I really had fun and can not wait for their wedding in Napa at Silverado it is going to be amazing!

We ended the evening with some yummy treats and wine and Dave sent me home with his very own IPA … Tony asked me as soon as I got home “is that for me”  YEP … AND he loved Daves IPA !!!  Thanks so much Dave and Sara for a great time!
