I got the text ” I know you are super busy, but is there any way you could come over, we are going to have to put Buster to sleep tomorrow and we wanted to capture he and Addison together” … tears filled my eyes … I text back … “I’ll be there at 9:30″.
Addison has known Buster her whole life! See, Buster is going on 15! A long life for a sweet doggie for sure! He is loved by many … even his crazy counter part Crosby. Sweet Addison and Buster and I spent a little bit of time together yesterday … just loving on Buster and giving some kisses and enjoying why unconditional love feels so good. Thats the best part about having pets like Buster … they love us no matter what … and we love them.
It hurts to say goodbye to such a true friend and I was honored to be able to capture some of the love over the years that they have shared.
It NEVER gets old … the sweetness of new babies. There is just something so precious about a new life, a fresh beginning that takes all the troubles of the world away.
… maybe it’s the fact that this little human will never ever be this tiny again … or maybe it’s the sweet smell of new babies …
