So, it’s no surprise to hear from me, I say it a lot … I have the BEST job ever … sometimes I even think … maybe I should stop rubbing it in!! Seriously, each day I wake up I think of the experiences that I get to share with people and it brings pure joy to my heart. I really don’t have a J-O-B …I get to live my passion.
Each experience touches me and changes me … but there was one recently … it will live in my heart forever. I can’t share many of the images with you due to confidentiality … but I can share some of them … and I can tell you how extraordinary the evening was.
When the groom initially called me to meet … there was something in his voice … I felt it … a certainty … we scheduled our meeting, enjoyed some good eats and conversation and before we parted that evening they told me that they wanted me to capture their day. I was so honored and excited because they are in the film industry … they know art and art that is captured through the lens … my heart was pounding with both glee (literally) and nervousness … I mean seriously … I was thrilled.
Their story is amazing, they actually met at a school reunion of sorts … saw each other and MAGIC! Wow … I just love that … and if you met them you could see just how it would happen to these two wonderful people.
The wedding was nothing short of the kind of wonderfulness that you would expect. Timeless beauty and good people were abound. But what I really wanted to share … what will live in my heart forever was that the Groom made a movie that highlighted their upbringing … everyone made their way down to the outdoor movie theatre at the hosts home … it was sorta like the slide shows that are common at weddings … BUT … both their fathers are no longer living and the Groom mixed video with their fathers voices in the movie … seriously there was not a dry eye … not even me and my assistant … we were crying … not just a tear of two … crying … it was so powerful. I will remember that night and that feeling of all the love that was around them and their families forever.
I thank them for the honor of being a part of their begining and I’ll be begging them to share more of their images, we captured some amazing ones … but for now … here are some that I can share.
