I’ve photographed Miss. Celeste since she was first born and she has been beautiful since the day I met her. She came down to the studio this last week and we took a walk aka had a photo shoot … and here are some of my favs …. I think her eyes are amazing and she has such a sweet personality … it was too funny because we were trying to ask her how old she was and she totally thought I had lost my marbles … when truly I would have thought calling the kitty that didn’t exist would have surly blown my coolness! It was so great to hang with Celeste!

It’s just about every wedding that I cry … seriously … I really love experiencing the love that people have for each other. Sometimes I get totally caught off guard by the emotion that I experience and on this day it was one of those days. Bob’s children were such a big part of Jenni and Bob’s wedding, it was really neat to see and after they were married and we were in the courtyard taking photos, Bob’s beautiful daughter could no longer hold back her tears of happiness for her father and Jenni and it took me right back to when my parents got remarried … I wanted to give her a squeeze because I too had felt those tears of happiness for my now happy parents. It’s so awesome to see families grow. It was such a pleasure getting to be part of their day and capture their love and happiness. Here are some of the images from their awesome day.

I don’t know about everyone else, but it seems lately I’ve been really meditating on the simple things … about the things around us that we take for granted and the things that we really need and the things that truly make us happy … really happy … not just that quick rush of happiness we get when we buy those new jeans or to die for the moment shoes … but the things that really feed us.
